Halo Release Date and Features: Spartan Assault for Windows 8 and Windows 8 Phones.
Microsoft released a new entry in the famous and widely popular Halo Franchise for the gamers and users of Windows 8 and Windows 8 Phones.
The new Halo: ‘Spartan Assault’, will have a completely new storyline with some of the familiar characters picked up from the franchise set up between Halo 3 and Halo 4.
For the Windows 8 PC users the game will not be much different from the previous versions but for the users of Windows 8 Phones; this will be an all new experience as Microsoft launched the first Halo version for touchscreen devices.
The new Halo will provide a top-down action view unlike the previous first person shooter games. This top-down action game will be manoeuvred by the players with a unique fusion of touch and console-like controls.
The game’s executive producer, Dan Ayoub had a chat with the Xbox Wire blog in which he said that the production company wanted to take the ‘Halo-world’ outside the living room and desktops. They wanted to create a whole new experience on a-whole new device screen. With Halo: Spartan Assault, the company believes that they can start a new era of gaming experience somehow.
The gameplay is designed in such a way that the players will be able to continue the game on the PC after pausing and saving it on their mobile devices or vice-versa; plus on the mobile devices, the game will be able to take advantage of the modern age processors such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon series of the Nokia Lumia.
The Franchise is known for its ability to provide top class cinematic 3D Graphics and the same is expected from this new production.
